EGYPT: Rights group

Female activists detained during the Egyptian army's evacuation of Tahrir Square on March 9 told human-rights organizations that they were beaten, tortured and forced to take virginity tests while in military custody.
Salwa Hosseini, 20, who was taken by soldiers to a military prison on the outskirts of Cairo, toldAmnesty International that she and fellow female detainees were strip searched, photographed while naked and subjected to electric shocks. Hossein added that female guards warned the captured women they would be charged with prostitution if they didn't take medical tests to prove they were virgins.
"Forcing women to have 'virginity tests' is utterly unacceptable. Its purpose is to degrade women because they are women," Amnesty International said. "The Egyptian authorities must halt the shocking and degrading treatment of women protesters. Women fully participated in bringing change in Egypt and should not be punished for their activism."

Humphries Wedding Makes Millions

Famous New York City weddings photos are a must have in the world of gossip. They can also be a smart investment if a celebrity plays their cards right. Recently, People magazine overpaid an obscene amount of money for the rights to Kim Kardashian’s NYC Wedding Photos. The bidding war ended after the weekly magazine outbid every other tabloid, and won the opportunity to spread the glitz and glamour at a laughable bargain of $1.5 million. The funniest part about the winning bid is…the pictures are boring? People Magazine clearly got caught up in winning such an exclusive offer, as they really didn’t have much to showcase of such a famous big name wedding between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.
Even if this romance turns out to be like most celebrity weddings, the happy couple have walked away with some serious cash on their wedding day. The best part is there was the second wedding reception in New York City on August 31st.
The New York Post reported a breakdown of exactly how much the Kardashian/Humphries made on their special day. The E! Wedding special brought in $15M, wedding photos to People: $1.5M, engagement photos: $300K, bridal shower photos to OK! racked up another $100K, bachelorette party at Tao, Las Vegas: $50K.
To add to the money coming in, the freebies were at a premium; there were the free invitations and half a million dollars of Perrier-Jouet champagne for free as well.  Business owners were clearly happy to hand out some freebies to get their name mentioned. Not only is her use of a product  the best endorsement money can buy, it can drive trends according to Mogulite.com. Trends translate into people buying things and in turn, that drives the economy.
This wedding in my opinion is a business investment. The Kardashians, as annoying as they are, know how to bring in the dollars. Call out some celebrities for guests, pimp out the cost of the photos and freebies, and laugh your way to the bank.

traditional cloth

Tonight i’ll try to share my opinion about fashion…..
but wait a minute, its not a trend fashion. its a traditional fashion. every country have their own tradional cloth. in middle east countries like UEA, Iran, or even indonesia in south east asia, they have Moslem cloth  , or Kimono in japan, and cheongsam in china. some people think its an old fashion….not cool or something like that. but actually you can look cool and stylish with traditional clothes. current era, traditional clothes are combined with modern style.
you can see in the picture….traditional…but not vintage. even you do not have to waste an important element in traditional dress themselves in order to remain able to look stylish.
