I have a very simple principle of my design house and that is a constant hard work for timeless clothes. I recently launched my women’s clothing line during Dubai Fashion week in May 2011. The event was incredibly successful and acted as an ideal platform that helped me introduce my label to the fashion world. My cuts intertwine both eastern and western elements that allow for a variety of styles. I have launched my signature line Gulzeb couture under which I present both ready-to-wear and couture.Dubai Fashion Week 2011. December 31, 1969. it's a Nina Ricci dress, but it's less impactful for the actual design than for its particular place in Reese's personal history -- she had just separated from her husband and was "I'm a new me!" to the world, complete with cool hair and curvy, sexier dresses. It's sort of regal yet youthful and slightly more provocative than Reese's usual fashion modus operandi. Yeah, the look on her face could probably cut you in half, but she'd look fabulous doing it.

which one again!) gets so worked up over Waitress, sometimes she even turns a little teary-eyed during the g.d. trailer. A lot of those tears are for Adrienne Shelly, but they're also for all those heart-in-throat moments - like when Andy Griffith says, "Pie lady, listen to me: This life'll kill you," or the birth scene, or how Adrienne Shelly's character thinks she's ugly. If anyone ever tells you s/he feels nothing for Waitress, you'd best knock on their forehead to make sure they're not made of stone.

The Royal We of nogoodforme.com is all about loving fashion and loathing The Fashion Industrial Complex (tm). We use the term FIC (tm) to encapsulate the stupid, boring, problematic garbage that unfortunately comes along with how most people think about fashion: Brands and Dollaz and Misogyny and Elitism, Oh My! As such, I generally try to think about fashion in terms of self-expression and garments and innovation rather than associating myself with any particular style-istic segment or school of thought. Never-the-lesser, in 2008, my brain has been consistently blown by the intensely awesome and truly exciting sartorial culture coming out of Australia right now. Seen below is my petite tribute to the Maximum Aussies who have rocked my world over the course of the past twelve months:

something of a Toronto institution; it's one of those vegan/vegetarian restaurants that people who eat meat eat at by choice. In the dead of this dismal winter, all I ever want to eat is their coconut tempeh appetizer and "Tangled Thai" salad (shredded carrots, daikon, and golden beets, Napa cabbage, chopped peanuts, cilantro, cucumber, freakin' Goji berries, puffed quinoa, crispy tofu cubes, and peanut-lime dressing)- it's like edible Vitamin D and melotonin.
