PERFECTLY IMPERFECT
One of the sexiest looks from the fall shows was at Lanvin: Black shadow was winged out from the outer corners, and lashes looked doll-like and purposefully clumpy. Using makeup artist Pat McGrath drew black cream shadow from the center of the lash line, smudging and then squaring off the edges so it looked "imperfect, like the models did their makeup themselves," she said. Substituting shadow for liner in this case created eyes worthy of Brigitte Bardot, especially after brushing on several coats of mascara and dabbing on a pale pink lipsticks.
